SAS University Edition: Help Center

Can I run multiple versions of the SAS University Edition vApp?

bullet icon Show instructions for: Google Chrome | Microsoft Internet Explorer | Mozilla Firefox
You can use multiple versions of the SAS University Edition vApp and switch among them, but you can't run them at the same time. Make sure that you set up your shared folder and other folder shortcuts for each vApp so that you can access your data and preferences. If you are using VMWare Workstation Player, VMWare Fusion, or VMware Player, each vApp has a unique URL to access SAS Studio.

If you are using VirtualBox and have multiple versions of the SAS University Edition vApp, the URL for each version is the same. You can still run different versions of the vApp and switch among them, but you need to clear your browser's cache when you switch from one version to another. If you don't clear your cache, SAS Studio might display only a blue screen.
