New release of SAS University Edition, which includes SAS Studio 3.7, SAS 9.4M5, and the new SASPy interface. SASPy is an interface to SAS that automatically generates SAS code from your Python 3.x scripts. For more information, see What Is SASPy?

If you are currently running SAS University Edition, you can easily get this new release by using the update functionality in the SAS University Edition Information Center.

New release of SAS University Edition, which includes SAS Studio 3.6 and SAS 9.4M4. Because this release of SAS includes updates to the web server, you cannot upgrade your existing SAS University Edition vapp to this new release.

To run this release of SAS University Edition:

  1. Download and install the new SAS University Edition vapp from the Download SAS University Edition website.
  2. Add the SAS University Edition vApp to your virtualization software: VirtualBox, VMware Workstation Player, or VMware Fusion.
  3. Create your shared folder in VirtualBox, VMware Workstation Player, or VMware Fusion.

New release of SAS University Edition which runs on SAS 9.4M3 and uses SAS Studio 3.5. This new release includes a new batch submit feature, new keyboard shortcuts for snippets, and many new statistical tasks.

You can also uninstall your existing SAS University Edition and download a new file. Starting in this release, the download file for VMWare Workstation Player and VMWare Fusion is an OVA file. No more downloading a ZIP file and then unzipping the contents to your local machine.
