Overview

JMP is exploratory data analysis and modeling software for the desktop that is interactive and easy to use. JMP presents the results of analysis both graphically and numerically. JMP makes data analysis - and the discoveries that result - visual and helps to communicate those discoveries to others. The graphs in JMP are linked to each other and to the data, which makes it easier to discover trends, outliers and other patterns in the data. Customers use JMP to explore the causes of problems, design experiments, explore models and perform reliability analysis, to name a few of its capabilities.

SAS Add-ins for JMP

Integration of SAS and JMP for targeted applications may expand access to specific SAS software features to users who might already be comfortable working with the JMP interface or who prefer not to write code. The applications below all feature advanced analytic procedures from SAS delivered in a JMP environment.

Using a graphical interface, SAS Structural Equation Modeling for JMP enables you to specify a path diagram to represent one of a variety of structural equation models (SEMs). You can specify models with only observed variables (for example, regression and path analysis models) or models that have both observed and latent variables (for example, factor analysis and latent curve models). In addition to building path diagrams, the interface can translate the path diagrams into statements in the SAS/STAT® CALIS procedure, run the statements and display the results in JMP. See more information about SAS Structural Equation Modeling for JMP.

SAS Econometrics and Time Series Analysis for JMP is also graphical user interface that provides access to SAS/ETS® procedures. You can use the interface to build autoregressive or heteroscedastic error models, unobserved component models, and panel analysis models. After you specify a model in the interface, SAS Econometrics and Time Series Analysis for JMP translates the model specifications into statements for the relevant SAS/ETS® procedure, runs the statements, and displays the results in JMP. See more information about SAS Econometrics and Time Series Analysis for JMP.
