To view the metadata associated with a SAS data set that has been added to ArcMap:

1. Open ArcCatalog.
2. Expand OLE DB Connection, under the Database Connections folder in the tree-view catalog on the left. This shows the items that are in SAS libraries.

   Note: If you don't see OLE DB Connection, you must first add an OLE database connection.

3. Select an item from a SAS library.
4. Select the SAS Metadata tab.
