SAS AppDev Studio 3.2 Eclipse Plug-ins System Requirements

These are the minimum system requirements for the various install and deployment hosts for SAS AppDev Studio 3.2.

Development Environment

The minimum requirements for developing enterprise applications with SAS AppDev Studio include:

Operating System: Windows XP Professional (Service Pack 1 or later)
Windows 2000 Professional (Service Pack 1 or later)
Windows NT 4.0 Workstation (Service Pack 6a or later)
SAS Software: SAS 9.1.3 Service Pack 4
*or*
SAS Release 8.2
Hardware: Intel or Intel-compatible Pentium II class processor (minimum recommended)
SVGA monitor (resolution of 800x600 or higher)
CD-ROM drive
512 MB RAM minimum (more memory is recommended for improved performance)
700 MB hard disk space

Hardware: 5 MB available hard disk space (in addition to the standard SAS footprint)
To deploy and run applications that you create with SAS AppDev Studio, you might need to apply server-side catalog updates to SAS software. The necessary SAS updates are included on the SAS AppDev Studio Server-Side Catalogs installation media.
