Using Remote FAME Data Access

There are two ways to access your remote FAME data bases. The first way is to use SAS/CONNECT to submit a remote SAS session to your FAME server, and then use PROC DOWNLOAD to bring your results back to your SAS client. For an illustration, see Example 2.1. The second way uses an experimental feature of the SASEFAME interface where the FAME CHLI communicates with your remote FAME server using the frdb_m port number and the node name of your FAME master server in your libref.
