Generalized Linear Models

To fit a more general class of models, use the generalized linear model. SAS/INSIGHT software supports normal, inverse Gaussian, gamma, Poisson, and binomial response distributions; and canonical, identity, log, logit, probit, complementary log-log, and power link functions.


Generalized Linear Model

By choosing appropriate response distributions and link functions, you can fit logistic regression, Poisson regression, and other generalized linear models. Examine results using analysis of deviance, Wald tests, and likelihood ratio tests.
