New release of SAS analytics software now available!
SAS/STAT®
SAS/STAT 13.1 includes three new procedures in addition to many enhancements to existing functionality.
The following are some of the highlights of the new release:
- Survival analysis with interval-censored data
- Sensitivity analysis in multiple imputation for missing data
- Item response theory (IRT) models
- Fine and Gray model for competing-risks data
- Bayesian choice models
- Path diagrams for structural equation models

SAS/QC®
Highlights of SAS/QC 13.1 enhancements include the following:
- Westgard rules for laboratory quality control
- Recurrent event plots and additional stress / lifetime relations for reliability analysis
- New macros for measurement system analysis
- Improved parameter estimation for the Johnson Su distribution
SAS/ETS®
Highlights of SAS/ETS 13.1 enhancements include the following:
- Models for limited dependent variables with endogenous regressors
- New multivariate time series techniques with performance gains
- Compound distribution modeling for loss simulation
- Multivariate Bayesian limited dependent models
- Convenient access to Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED)
- Conway-Maxwell-Poisson regression
SAS/OR®
Highlights of SAS/OR 13.1 enhancements include the following:
- Support for user-defined functions via PROC FCMP for optimization modeling in PROC OPTMODEL
- New concurrent processing loop in PROC OPTMODEL for threaded execution of solver invocations
- Support for multiple objectives in local search optimization
- Concurrent solver option for linear and nonlinear optimization
- GUI enhancements for SAS® Simulation Studio
SAS/IML® and SAS/IML® Studio
Highlights of SAS/IML 13.1 enhancements include the following:
- Enhanced linear programming and mixed integer linear programming optimization
- Enhanced data visualization through ODS Graphics
- Additional functions for data analysis and simulation
- New SAS programming window for SAS/IML Studio
- Enhanced editing features in the SAS/IML Studio programming environment
SAS® Enterprise Miner™
Highlights of SAS Enterprise Miner 13.1 enhancements include the following:
- Time series data mining nodes
- Bayesian network classification
- Support vector machines
- Generalized linear models node
- Support for clustered mid-tier deployments
- Model registration
SAS® Text Miner
Highlights of SAS Text Miner 13.1 enhancements include the following:
- Ability to see how terms change over time using the new Text Profile node
- Capability of filtering language in text parsing node
- Addition of matrix graph in text topic node for comparing terms
SAS® Forecast Server
Highlights of SAS Forecast Server 13.1 enhancements include the following:
- Diagnostic engine multithreaded for model generation and for variable and event selection
- Forecasting engine multithreaded for model selection
- Support for SAS® Grid Workspace Servers for load balancing of multiple projects
- Interactive exploration and analysis of large volumes of data with SAS® Time Series Studio
High-Performance Analytics Updates
Highlights of updates to High-Performance Analytics include the following:
- Statistics: principal components analysis, canonical discriminant analysis, finite mixture models
- Econometrics: panel data modeling, compound distribution models for loss simulation, multivariate copula simulation
- Text Mining: topic rotation
- Data Mining: cluster analysis, support vector machines, Bayesian network classification, generalized linear models
