Meet Editor Stephenie Joyner

By Aimee Rodriguez

pix Stephenie Joyner Stephenie came to SAS as a technical writer in 1982, and she came back to SAS in 1993 after a short stint at IBM. She started with SAS Press in 2001 and has been here ever since. Her recently released SAS Press books include Multiple Comparisons and Multiple Tests Using SAS®, Practical Data Analysis with JMP®, and SAS® Programming for Enterprise Guide® Users, Second Edition. These are the facts.

Now for the fun! Her favorite book of all time is A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving ("because it demonstrates how everything in life happens for a reason," she says), and she admires middle school teachers above all others, having taught English to middle schoolers for one VERY LONG year.

b) a movie theater, film reels, and lots of popcorn
c) her iPhone, pictures of her family, and the makings for a tasty salad
d) her iPhone, iPad, and a big floppy hat!
e) a good novel, walking shoes, and baklava
