Clark Abrahams
Clark Abrahams is Chief Financial Architect at SAS, where his responsibilities
span research and development, marketing, and sales. Inventor, author, and
former bank executive, he evangelizes on a revolutionary approach for lending
based on thirty years of experience as a banker and senior risk manager. In
2008, prior to the financial market meltdown, Abrahams testified about the need
for a better consumer lending approach before a House of Representatives
Financial Services Subcommittee. A San Francisco native, he is a graduate of the
University of California, Berkeley, and Stanford University. He serves on the
Board of Directors of Social Compact, a
Washington, DC-based nonprofit that promotes information-led community
development. From 2007 to 2008, Abrahams served on an urban markets advisory
board at the Brookings Institution. He is a member of the CFA Institute, GARP,
NC Society of Financial Analysts, PRMIA, and RMA.
Mingyuan Zhang
Mingyuan Zhang is Principal Consultant at SAS. He has more than ten years of
experience in developing and implementing economic forecasting, data mining,
and financial risk management solutions. Prior to joining SAS, he served as an
economic and financial analyst for a leading telecommunications consulting firm.
Zhang earned an MBA and a PhD in financial economics and is a member of the
American Statistical Association.
