Build Flash Card Decks
Overview:
SAS® Flash Card gives you the ability to create your own decks of cards and share them. Easily create math, text, and image-based decks.
How to Create Flash Card Decks:
Follow the steps below to create flash card decks. (Note these same steps are demonstrated in the podcasts to the right).
- Navigate to the My Decks tab and select the Build Your Own button in the upper right corner (view image).
- The deck data page will open. Enter the following information about your deck:
- Select one of the provided Subjects that best characterizes your deck (view image).
- Choose Math, Text, or Image card type (view image).
- Choose the question type: True or False, Fill in the Blank, or Multiple Choice (view image).
- Give your deck a short descriptive title (view image).
- Select the grade level for which the deck content is most appropriate (view image).
- Enter your name. This can be used to help others find your deck if you make it public (view image).
- Provide a description that details the contents of your deck (view image).
- Decide whether you plan to make your deck public by submitting it to SAS for review (view image).
- Once you select the Build button the card table appears (view image).
From this screen you can:
- add a card using the + button
- edit a card by selecting it
- delete cards using the red -
- reorder your cards by drag-and-drop
- choose to publish your deck with the Publish Deck button
- finish the building session (you can continue building later by selecting your new deck from the My Decks tab) using the Done button.

- If you are building a Math deck enter the directive or question, the problem, select an operator, provide an answer and clarification (view image).
- If you are building an Image deck enter the directive or question, select a photo from your library, provide an answer and clarification (view image).
- If you are building a Text deck enter the directive or question and provide an answer and clarification (view image).
