SAS Fellowship Program

Throughout its 30-year history, SAS has maintained a joint commitment to support education and to help our customers meet their needs for employees with SAS skills. As part of the SAS Global Academic Program, we have developed the SAS Fellowship Program, which aims to improve the quality of today’s academic projects and to enrich the skill sets of tomorrow’s graduates.

SAS understands that students don’t always have access to the software they need to conduct their research efficiently and effectively. Too often, students must rely on software that has limited functionality or is difficult to use. The SAS Fellowship Program was created to address these needs by providing students with a free limited software license. This competitive program gives students the opportunity to use SAS software, the world’s leading analytic and business intelligence software, for non-commercial and non-profitable research purposes.

Students who are selected to participate in the program agree to share with SAS the knowledge gained through their research, thus increasing mindshare in the academic community. Additionally, a select group of students from across the globe will be showcased, along with their research, on the SAS Web site.

To apply, students should submit an application packet containing an abstract of their research, a project plan, letter(s) of recommendation and an application to the program. Specific details of the program may vary by region:
