Students have several options for getting access to SAS.
SAS from your school
SAS OnDemand for Academics
Your school may have an agreement with SAS to distribute SAS directly to you. A quick way to find if
your school does is to go to your school's web page and locate the SEARCH area. Type in "SAS" or "SAS Software" to see what
is returned. Or send an e-mail to studentprograms@sas.com for assistance in
finding out if your school participates.
SAS OnDemand for Academics
SAS OnDemand for Academics is
a software access method that provides professors and their students the analytic and reporting power of SAS over the
Internet. Processing takes place on SAS hosted servers therefore there are no expensive hardware requirements, software
administration, or disks to install. Only a broadband connection is required. Access by non-US schools is planned for the
near future.
Point and Click - SAS Enterprise Guide
SAS Enterprise Guide is a point-and-click interface to the power of SAS that makes it easier than ever to take advantage of SAS analytics without learning to program. View a quick demo of SAS Enterprise Guide.Point-and-Click – JMP for Statistical Discovery
The visual, interactive, and easy-to-learn desktop analytics of JMP software let students
master statistical concepts quickly. JMP's unique navigation paradigm drives students through statistics using point,
click, drag, and drop, and then displays results as statistics and graphs in the same window. Students can easily subset,
perform subsequent analyses, and create 3D and moving graphics to help understand the results of their analyses. JMP runs
on Windows and MacIntosh platforms.

will pay their travel expenses and registration fees to present at SAS Global Forum.

Present at a SAS user group conference
Great opportunities to network and exchange knowledge are yours when you present at or attend a
SAS user group conference. Papers should spotlight how SAS is used, a tip/trick to use SAS, and
can be for any level of SAS user. Many user groups provide student scholarships to attend their conferences, which can help
with expenses.
