SAS Programming for High School

Certificate Programs
SAS will work closely with your institution to develop certificate programs in a variety of areas of
SAS expertise. Designed to recognize students with advanced SAS knowledge, the program can use pre-existing courses or
ones newly developed in consultation with SAS. While your university will administer the program, the certificate will be
co-sponsored by SAS, assuming a set of minimum requirements for semester or course credit hours and topics covered are met.
Certificates are awarded after the successful completion of the course requirements.
Programs exist for data mining, statistical methods, data analysis, and programming. Certificate programs in other areas of
SAS expertise are posssible if interest warrants.

platform. Access by non-US schools is planned for the near future.
SAS Data Mining for the Classroom
To make data and text mining software more readily available to professors and teachers for use in the
classroom, SAS offers a stand-alone bundle that includes
SAS Enterprise Miner for data mining and
SAS Text Miner for
text mining, all on one DVD. Non-US schools may have access to this bundle in the future.
