SAS Self-Paced e-Learning is an internet-based software training method is available at a 50% discount for professors and students. You decide when, where and how to learn.


Training
Professors and full-time students receive a 50% discount on all SAS training courses.


Data Mining for Educators Workshop
This invitation-only program occurs each summer and offers university-level professors a unique opportunity to learn more about incorporating SAS Enterprise Miner into their curricula. SAS offers this training in multiple locations each summer. Previous years' locations have included Cary, NC and Long Beach, CA.


Lunch and Learn Seminars
This is a new way for professors to learn more about how SAS can be applied to enhance both teaching and research. These sessions are excellent opportunities to have lunch or a series of lunches on your campus with SAS professionals who are interested in learning about your teaching and research goals.


Symposia
Periodically SAS teams up with partner universities to bring together top analytical practitioners to discuss the latest trends, advances, and best practices in a given industry. Offered several times a year, these programs unite successful business practitioners with leading academicians to share their experiences and knowledge and help solve challenging business problems facing a particular industry.

User groups are intended for SAS software users from different organizations within a specific geographic area (Northeast SAS Users Group – NESUG) or within a specific industry (Pharmaceutical Industry – PharmaSUG) to gather and share information on how SAS is used, learn about new products, and improve your coding and analysis techniques.

Certification
The SAS Global Certification Program provides internationally recognized, formal credentials to SAS users who can demonstrate an advanced knowledge of SAS expertise. Certifications are offered in programming, and predictive modeling. For academics, SAS certification exams are available at a 50-percent discount off the published exam fee. This discount applies only to professors, staff, and full-time students of post-secondary degree-granting institutions.
