Problem Note 9951: New image for Sybase 12.5 on HPUX
A new image has been created for Sybase 12.5. The current image created
for Sybase 11.1 will work when connecting and querying data in Sybase.
The new image has been created to include various bcp Sybase fixes into
the SAS Sybase image.
A Technical Support hot fix for Release 8.2 (TS2M0) for this
issue is available at:

Once the hot fix has been applied, a link to the correct version of
sassyb must be created as follows:
Assuming !SASROOT is /usr/lib/sas8, execute the following commands:
for Open Client 11.1.0 and Open Client 11.1.1:
> cd /usr/lib/sas8/hotfix/sasexe
> mv sassyb sassyb.bak
> ln -s syh8x111 sassyb
for Open Client 12.5 (for HP-UX 11.0 systems only):
> cd /usr/lib/sas8/hotfix/sasexe
> mv sassyb sassyb.bak
> ln -s syh8x125 sassyb
