Usage Note 9695: "Matrix is too small for the proc to compute the singular
values" error
If you use the Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) method when running the Text Miner node in SAS Enterprise Miner, you may encounter the following error
message:
ERROR: The matrix is too small for the proc to compute the singular
values.
This error indicates that there are not enough documents in the training data set to run the node. The minimum number of documents, or observations, needed to run the SVD method in the Text Miner node is eight.
