Problem Note 9599: Query code is not updated after changing the input table using
Enterprise Guide
Enterprise Guide allows the user to change the table reference for input
into the Query Builder. For example, if you have two tables both with
the same column layout, you can run a query on one table, change the
input table to the second table, and rerun the same query without having
to rebuild the query code. The problem is that all the new table
references do not get updated in the query code and query builder
although the results will be correctly based on the new table.
To circumvent the problem, before resubmitting the new query, select the
Table tab in the query builder and RightMouse on the table header and
choose Properties, change the Alias to the new table name and then run
the query.
