Usage Note 9585: SAS 9 not supported on Windows XP Home but supported on Windows XP
Professional operating system
Per SAS system requirements documentation for SAS 9, SAS 9 is not
supported on Microsoft Windows XP Home but is supported on Microsoft
Windows XP Professional operating system.
If you try to install, this error message appears:
The SAS System for Windows V9 does not support this operating
system. Please review the system requirements documentation
for a list of supported operating systems.
The system requirements can be viewed from the following URL:
http://www.sas.com/installcenter
Select Microsoft Windows and then 'Basic Installation Edition Kit'.
Select 'System Requirements for SAS 9.1.3'. Scroll to the operating
systems section for a list of operating systems for SAS 9.
