Problem Note 9317: Using the LIKE condition with an escape sequence against an indexed
column returns 0 matches
Zero matches are found when using the LIKE condition with an escape
sequence against an indexed column.
If the column is non-indexed the LIKE condition returns the proper
results.
The ESCAPE option for the LIKE condition was introduced in Release 8.2
of SAS. Trying to use the ESCAPE option in releases prior to 8.2 results
in an error condition.
