Problem Note 8967: SAS/ACCESS Interface to Sybase incorrectly reads the Sybase value
'JUN 21 2001 2:03:46:793AM' and generates a warning message
When using SAS/Access Interface to Sybase version 8.2 on Windows to
interface with a Sybase table which contains a value
'Jun 21 2001 2:03:46:793AM', the value is read into SAS incorrectly and
the following Warning message is generated:
WARNING: The date February 29, 8000 cannot be represented in the SAS
System.
SAS does not consider the year 8000 to be a leap year. February 28, 8000
will be displayed.
This problem occurs with the numeric value received from Sybase for the
dates 29feb4000 and 29feb8000.
