Problem Note 8657: Failed to save project file to remote server when saving to binder in
Enterprise Guide version 2.0
When attempting to save a project to a binder in Enterprise Guide
version 2.0, the following error will occur:
"Failed to save project file to remote server (<project_name>)"
where <project name> is the name of the project being saved.
This error occurs regardless of the type of server connection, such as
IOM or DCOM, defined in the binder setup. The problem also occurs
regardless of the operating system of the server referenced by the
binder. Even attempting to save the project to a binder defined with
the "local file system" as the server will cause the error.
Projects can be saved to a binder in Enterprise Guide version 1.3
without a problem.
