Problem Note 8272: Metric values may be shifted using the SAR collector in ITSV
Some SAR reports are now generated without any denotation for missing
values. This can cause data to shift to an incorrect column when using
the SAR collector in IT Service Vision. For example, a record similar
to the following may be generated:
00:00:00 runq-sz %runocc swpq-sz %swpocc
00:05:00 16.0 99
Since the SAR collector as shipped uses list input to read this data,
the resulting values would be a '16' for runq-sz, '99' for %runocc and
missing values for the last 2 metrics.
To date, this problem has been reported only with SAR reports generated
on Solaris.
