Problem Note 7722: An error can occur when you try to publish with the French-encoded, EBCDIC version of SAS® Integration Technologies

The following error can occur when you try to publish with the French-encoded, EBCDIC version of SAS Integration Technologies:

ERROR: ARCHIVE transport engine encountered errors while publishing
         the package.
  ERROR: No logical assign for filename àSAS0003.

This problem has been encountered in publishing to an archive or to a WebDAV-compliant server when the SAS system option LOCALE=FRENCH is used.

To circumvent the problem, specify ENCODING=EBCDIC1147 instead of LOCALE=FRENCH in the SAS configuration file.
