Problem Note 7052: Exception evaluation on client fails if table is not in ASCII collating
sequence
If any data in an MVS PDB table is in a different order than would be
expected by the ASCII collating sequence and an exception evaluation
is attempted using a Windows NT or UNIX client, the following error
message is produced in the SAS Log:
ERROR: BY variables are not properly sorted on data set xxx.xxx
This happens because the collating sequence of the table is not
evaluated properly.
