Usage Note 61223: SAS® Home might display "Service: unknown >> unknown" during logon

When you log on to SAS Home, you might see the following error message:
An error occurred during service request.
Service: unknown >> unknown
Error:
Please contact your system administrator.

Please contact your system administrator.
This error can occur after the SAS® Content Server has been abnormally terminated, rather than by using the normal scripts and services. In order to resolve the issue, perform these steps:
- Stop the SAS® Web Servers.
- Rename or delete the following directory on the SAS® Visual Analytics server:
<sas-configuration-directory>/Lev1/AppData/SASContentServer/Repository/workspaces/default/index
- Restart the SAS Web Servers.
