Problem Note 60276: An error occurs and a blank display appears when you use your credentials to log on to SAS® Customer Intelligence Studio
When you enter your credentials to log on to SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, a blank display appears. In addition, the following error might be displayed in your web browser.
Refused to execute script from 'http://your-machine:7601/SASCIStudio/scripts/rightClick.js' because its MIME type (' ') is not executable, and strict MIME type checking is enabled.
This problem only happens when SAS Customer Intelligence Studio is deployed on Oracle WebLogic Server 11g and you use newer browser versions (for example, Mozilla Firefox v.50.1.0 and Google Chrome v.55.0.2883.87).
Follow the steps below to resolve this problem:
- Stop all WebLogic servers and the WebLogic Server Administration Console.
- Add the mimemappings.properties file (available on the Downloads tab in this note) to the SAS-configuration-directory/Lev1/Web/SASDomain/config directory.
- Restart All WebLogic servers so that they can include the file that you added in step 2.
- Add the following Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions (MIME) mappings to the web.xml.orig file that resides in the SASHOME/SASCustomerIntelligenceStudio/6.1/Configurable/wars/sas.ci.shell/WEB-INF/ directory:
<mime-mapping>
<extension>js</extension>
<mime-type>text/javascript</mime-type>
</mime-mapping>
<mime-mapping>
<extension>css</extension>
<mime-type>text/css</mime-type>
</mime-mapping>
<mime-mapping>
<extension>swf</extension>
<mime-type>application/x-shockwave-flash</mime-type>
</mime-mapping>
- Rebuild the sas.custintellstudio6.1.ear web application in SAS® Deployment Manager.
- Update the sas.custintellstudio6.1.ear file in the WebLogic console.
- Completely clear the Chrome and Firefox browser caches. (This step is very important!)
