Problem Note 6161: Predicted values from Neural Network may be incorrect for observations
with missing input values if a standardization method is specified
In the Neural Network node of Enterprise Miner, if a standardization
method is specified for the target variable (STANDARD DEVIATION, RANGE
or MID RANGE), predicted values will be incorrect for observations with
missing input values.
The target standardization method is specified through the NETWORK
sub-tab of the ADVANCED tab of the Neural Network node when you right
click on the TARGET node, select properties, click on the TARGET tab and
then the STANDARDIZATION pull-down menu.
A Technical Support hot fix for Release 8.2 TSLEVEL TS2M0 for this
issue is available at:
