Problem Note 5950: ODS PDF does not render Latin1 (ISO 8859-1) encoding correctly
In SAS Release 8.2, only ISO 8859-1 encoding (Latin1) is available in
ODS PDF output. Other encoding settings will be ignored. Additionally,
only the Times and Helvetica fonts will correctly produce the extended
characters available in this character set. Other fonts can only
produce the standard characters.
A Technical Support hot fix for Release 8.2 TSLEVEL TS2M0 for this
issue is available at:
