Problem Note 5909: Unable to append to a SYBASE table with BULKCOPY if an identity column
exists on the table
You will receive the following error message when appending to a
SYBASE table with the BULKCOPY option if an identity column
exists in the table:
ERROR: Bulk Data Transfer Failed: sassyb:sychkmsg:Error Message
Routine FAILED.
No records will be appended to the SYBASE table.
The SAS/ACCESS engine for SYBASE attempts to bind the SAS column
corresponding to the SYBASE identity column. This is the cause of the
error message. The engine should bypass this column instead.
