Problem Note 5594: NLIN may give Error: Could not compute the change vector and fail to
converge
If the Hessian is completely singular and the objective function/SSE is
equal to zero at the solution, PROC NLIN may terminate with:
Error: Could not compute the change vector
and fail to converge.
There is no circumvention for this problem.
A Technical Support hot fix for Release 8.2 TSLEVEL TS2M0 for this
issue is available at:
