Problem Note 5283: External I/O performance degradation
In Release 8.2 TSLEVEL 2M0, various external I/O operations including,
but not limited to, disk, tape (UNIX only), pipe (UNIX only), and
terminal access may experience significant performance degradation
compared to Release 8.1.
A Technical Support hot fix for Release 8.2 TSLEVEL TS2M0 for this
issue is available at:
