Problem Note 5158: SAS/IntrNet® Application Server may crash on Windows 2000
A SAS/IntrNet® Application Server problem has been reported by several
Windows 2000 users. The problem generally causes the Application Server
to crash while processing a client request. The problem has been traced
to a thread synchronization issue.

SAS recommends that you do not install or run the SAS/IntrNet
Application Server on Windows 2000 until this fix has been applied.
SAS Note #005008 provides more information about this problem.
Before installing the hot fix, you should make sure that no SAS sessions
are running on your Windows machine.
After you install the hot fix, it is important to check the log file
that is created (82BB74wn.log) in your SAS root directory to confirm
that the hot fix was installed successfully.
