Problem Note 48808: A syntax error might be generated when specifying a w.d format for the TICKVALUEFORMAT= option in PROC SGPLOT
The following error messages might be generated when using the TICKVALUEFORMAT= option in an XAXIS or YAXIS statement with the SGPLOT procedure:
ERROR 22-322: Syntax error, expecting one of the following:
a name, a format name.
ERROR 200-322: The symbol is not recognized and will be ignored.
This problem is most likely to occur when using the w.d SAS format.
To circumvent the problem, include an F in front of the format name. For example:
xaxis tickvalueformat=F5.1;

Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
Using a
w.d format with the TICKVALUEFORMAT= option in PROC SGPLOT can generate a syntax error.
