Note: The port of 7001 shown above is the default port for a WebLogic implementation. The default port for JBoss is 8080 and for WebLogic it is 9080. Modify the port accordingly based on your configuration.

Validation steps
  1. Access the SAS Information Delivery Portal.
  2. Login using the sasdemo credentials provided during configuration.
  3. To create a link to the SAS Strategy Management application: On the Portal page, add a portlet of type Collection Portlet by selecting Customize > Edit Page > Edit Page Content and clicking "Add Portlets" button.
  4. Select the Collection Portlet from the Portlet type pull down menu.
  5. From within the portlet you just created, click the "Edit Content" icon.
  6. Click "Add Items" button. Enter the name of the Strategy Management application. Enter the URL for the application.
  7. In the Collection portlet on the Portal page, click the link that you just created.
  8. In Template and Project Manager, select the KPI Template
  9. Create a new KPI project by selecting "New Project". Go through the New Project wizard and select a location to save the project (e.g. My Folder), enter a project name and select the default StM Time Hierarchy (Stm_Time_Hierarchy).
  10. Accept the defaults in the remainder of the wizard.
  11. Create a new element in the project you created by selecting the default "Scorecard - 1" and selecting "New Element".
  12. Enter an element name, "Increase revenues"
  13. Enter a metric attribute value by selecting the action drop down button for the element, then select "Edit metric attributes".
  14. Select "Actual" metric attribute, select the "Actual value" checkbox and enter a manual value.
  15. In the Column selection pulldown select "All Materic Attributes", click Go.
  16. On the Scorecard page, select the "Portal" link
  17. Select Customize > Edit Page > Edit Page Content
  18. Click "Add Portlets".
  19. Select "Performance table" portlet type.
  20. From within the portlet you created, click on "Edit portlet"
  21. Select the "KPI Template" from the Template pulldown.
  22. Select the KPI project you created.
  23. In the Scorecard field, expand the scorecard tree and select "Scorecard - 1"
  24. In the "Column selection" pull down select "All Metric Attributes". Accept all other default selections.
  25. Ensure that the Performance table portlet displays the scorecard, the element and the metric attribute value.
  26. Select Customize > Edit Page > Edit Page Content and clicking "Add Portlets".
  27. Select "Strategy Management" portlet type
  28. In the "Project" pull down menu, select the KPI project you created
  29. In the "Available tiles" section, move the Table view to the "Selected tiles" section.
  30. Click on "Edit tile properties..."
  31. Under the "Exploration Controls" section, select the checkboxes "Display element type control" and "Display column selection control".
  32. As "Default column selection", select "All Metric Attributes".
  33. Click OK, then Save.
  34. Ensure that the Strategy Management portlet displays the table tile with the element and the metric value.
