Problem Note 46802: "SPDS Sql Passthru Error" might occur in SAS® Web Report Studio if the generated query includes a PUT statement that includes a ?
If your report is using SAS® Scalable Performance Data Server® data, then you might see a syntax error similar to the following:
SPDS_ERROR: SQL passthru expression contained errors.
ERROR: SPDS Sql Passthru Error.
If you look at the (pooled) workspace server log, you might see SPDS_ERROR: Parse Failure
.
This combination of errors might occur if the generated query includes a PUT statement that includes a ?, as shown in the following example:
PUT( ( table0.DTE ) ,? DATE.) AS DIR_158 LABEL='Closed Date'
