Usage Note 45723: What does the "SG" at the beginning of the SG procedures stand for?
What does the "SG" at the beginning of the SG procedures, such as PROC SGPLOT, stand for?
The "SG" initially stood for Statistical Graphics. However, the scope of the SG procedures has broadened. "SG" is now a way to differentiate these procedures from the traditional SAS/GRAPH® procedures.
