Before installing SAS® Software, please refer to the table of Supported UNIX Operating Environments to confirm that both your operating system and the release of your operating system are supported.
Note that the only supported distributions of Linux are Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SUSE Enterprise Linux, and Oracle Enterprise Linux.
All other distributions, including Red Hat Fedora, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Amazon Linux 2, are considered alternative operating systems. Please read the statement regarding SAS Support for Alternative Operating Systems.
