Problem Note 41035: All input and output ports are incorrectly activated for generated transformations after job migration
If you have SAS® 9.1.3 metadata that meets the following conditions, issues will surface in SAS® Data Integration Studio jobs after they are migrated from SAS 9.1.3 to SAS 9.2:
-
You have a generated transformation in which the maximum number of inputs or outputs have been set to a value that is greater than 1.
-
You have altered the default macro variable names that are generated in conjunction with the transformation inputs or outputs.
-
You have one or more jobs that reference this generated transformation where the number of inputs or outputs in use do not match the maximum.
-
You migrate this metadata from SAS 9.1.3 to SAS 9.2, either using the SAS® Migration Utility or the SAS Export and Import Wizards.
When these conditions are met, all inputs or outputs on these generated transformations will be incorrectly activated during the migration process. As a result, incorrect code generates and errors occur during code execution.
