An error message might occur when you schedule SAS Marketing Automation metadata on a JBoss application in a Linux operating environment. When the Flow Manager ends with an exit code 1, there might be an error in your malauncher.log file. To verify that this is the problem and to work around the issue, follow these steps:

1. Copy the SAS Marketing Automation Launcher command line from SAS^® Management Console and run it from a command prompt. Here is an example:

   /opt/sas92p/config/Lev1/MaLauncher/mabatch.sh -u sasdemop -p xxxxx -d imap -e -v -- 
   SBIP://METASERVER/DEMO/InformationMaps/MAInformationMap(BriefInformationMap)" true 1 
   "NumericDiscrete" "CharDiscrete"

2. To verify the cause of the problem, look for the following error message in the malauncher.log file:

      eval: line 30: syntax error near unexpected token '('

   If the log file contains this error, you need to modify the mabatch.sh script file, which is found at, for example, the following location:

      /opt/sas92p/config/Lev1/MaLauncher/mabatch.sh

3. Open the mabatch.sh file and put single quotation marks around the last line, like this:

   eval 'exec $cmd $USERMODS_OPTIONS'
