Usage Note 40496: The SCANQ function is no longer documented in SAS® 9.2 and above
The function is still available for use, but according to development the functionality that was part of that function has been incorporated into the SCAN function.
It would be a good idea to use the SCAN function in case SCANQ is completely removed in a future release.
