Problem Note 40452: "ERROR:CLI execute error...Invalid object name..." occurs in the SCD Type 2 Loader transformation when loading data to a Microsoft SQL Server database
When using the Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD) Type 2 Loader transformation in SAS® Data Integration Studio to load data to an SQL Server database table, you might receive an error similar to this:
ERROR: CLI execute error: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]
[SQL Server]Invalid object name 'W5PIILIR'. : [Microsoft]
[ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Invalid object name 'W5PIILIR'
The generated code loads temporary SQL Server tables to enable explicit pass through SQL to be performed inside the DBMS. When referenced, the SQL Server requires these table names to have a prefix of either a single number sign (#) or a double number sign (##). The generated explicit SQL procedure code does not use the ## notation when joining these global temporary tables and results in the error.
There is currently no circumvention for this problem.
