Problem Note 40011: The Data Validation transformation generates invalid code if the name of a lookup table contains special characters
If the name of a lookup table that is referenced in a Data Validation transformation contains special characters, the job fails when it executes and errors occur. This failure occurs because the code that is generated does not properly identify the table name as a name literal.
Possible ways to work around the issue include the following:
- Renaming the lookup table so that it does not contains special characters.
- Overriding the code that is automatically generated and fixing the problem by adding a trailing n to all instances of the quoted lookup table name so that it is now a valid name literal.
