In Release 8.2 of the SAS System, a query against a DBMS that connects
to the database through the LIBNAME Access engine or through the use of
an ACCESS view may return the incorrect number of records.  You will see
the problem if the WHERE clause, WHERE data set option, or WHERE
statement contains multiple conditions and one or more conditions
contain a SAS function.  An example of such a WHERE condition follows:

    libname oralib oracle user=scott password=tiger;

    data one;
     set oralib.employees;
     where jobcode='CP' and month(hiredate)=5;
    quit;

In this example, the WHERE conditions are parsed and the condition,
JOBCODE='CP' is passed to the DBMS for processing.  The records that
meet this condition are passed back to SAS and the condition
MONTH(HIREDATE)=5 should be used to further subset the records.  In
Release 8.2 of the SAS System, the second condition is not being
applied to the results of the subsetting performed by the database.
