Problem Note 4501: PROC TABULATE repeats statistics in all ODS destinations except listing
and output data sets
If multiple statistics are requested in the row or column dimension, one
or all of the statistics may be repeated. In particular, when the
dimension expression contains the crossing of at least one CLASS
variable and at least one ANALYSIS variable combined with multiple
statistics, you will receive incorrect output in all ODS destinations
except listing and output data sets.
The following example will repeat every statistic requested.
TABLE CLASS1*(MEAN MEDIAN)*ANALYSIS,CLASS2;
The following example will repeat the first requested statistic only.
TABLE CLASS1*ANALYSIS*(MEAN MEDIAN),CLASS2;
If the ODS LISTING destination is turned off with the ODS LISTING CLOSE
statement, then the problem may manifest as various system specific
errors like: READ ACCESS VIOLATION in TASK TABULATE on Windows, for
instance.
