Problem Note 4069: SYSRC macro variable not set properly when non-SAS PROC is called
When invoking a non-SAS routine from within SAS using the PROC
statement, the automatic macro variable SYSRC is not set to the return
code of the called routine.
A Technical Support hot fix for Release 8.1 TSLEVEL TS1M0 for this issue
is available at:

This problem is corrected in Release 8.2 TSLEVEL 2M0 of the SAS system.
