Problem Note 4028: FRAME entry with custom tab order might become corrupted after
synchronization
If you synchronize a SAS/AF FRAME entry in which you have defined a
custom tab order, the FRAME entry may become corrupted. Once the FRAME
entry is corrupted, if you execute the entry, it will program halt with
the following error message:
ERROR: Invalid list identifier 0.
You may also receive error messages indicating a read access violation
or generic critical error. If you edit the FRAME entry and open the Tab
Order window (View -> Tab order), no controls will be listed in the
window.
During synchronization, a sublist within the TABORDER sublist of the
FRAME entry may be deleted. If you synchronize the entry more than
once, you may find that an additional sublist is deleted each time you
synchronize the entry. You can view the TABORDER sublist by selecting
the FRAME in the Explorer window, using your right mouse button to
display the pop-up menu, and selecting List from the pop-up menu. In
the SAS Log, the TABORDER sublist appears at the bottom of the listing.
If your FRAME entry has become corrupted in this way, you can partially
restore it by editing a new FRAME entry and then issuing the COPY
command within the new entry to copy the original entry into the new
one. This will copy everything except the following:
1. customizations made to _FRAME_ in the Properties window
2. tab order customizations
3. regions for Version 6 Legacy objects will be emptied.
Select the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.
