Problem Note 39809: SAS® 9.2 becomes unresponsive in Microsoft Windows operating environments when using the MEMCACHE system option
When you use the MEMCACHE option with SAS 9.2 under Windows, SAS might stop responding. The program appears to be running but never finishes.
Currently the workaround is not to use the MEMCACHE option.
Support for this option is planned for a future release of SAS.
