Usage Note 37875: Referencing a different model from an existing SASĀ® Financial Management Read-Only Table
When you create a Read-Only Table in SAS Financial Management, you define a specific model for the table to read from. It is possible to use the same table to read data from a different model.
To do so:
- Open your report using the SAS Financial Management Add-in for Microsoft Excel and log on by selecting
SAS Solutions > Logon
from the menu bar.
- Click your left mouse button in the top-left corner of the table, which should highlight the entire table (you might need to double-click your mouse button).
- Click your right mouse button somewhere within the table and select
Edit > Table Properties
- Select the Dimensions tab.
- In the "Results Model" (SAS Financial Management release 4.x) or the "Model" (SAS Financial Management release 5.x) field, select your new model from the drop-down list and select "OK".
