Usage Note 37137: Is it possible to restrict access by dimension type within SAS® Financial Management Studio?
There are three user roles that allow access to SAS Financial Management Studio
- Finance Adjuster
- Dimension Modeler
- Finance Process Administrator.
The Finance Adjuster has read access to the Dimensions workspace.
The Dimension Modeler has access to
all the features of the Dimensions workspace.
The Finance Process Administrator has access to
all features of SAS Financial Management Studio.
Curently, it is not possible in SAS Financial Management Studio to selectively give users access by dimension type. However, this functionality will be added in release 5.2 of SAS Financial Management.
